Cai Qing, Orchestra Manager of the Chengdu Symphony Orchestra, Principal Clarinetist of the Chengdu Symphony Orchestra, and Standing Director of the Sichuan Clarinet Society.

He began learning the clarinet in 1990 under the guidance of renowned young clarinetist Yu Bo from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. In 1993, he was admitted to the Affiliated Middle School of the Sichuan Conservatory of Music with outstanding grades. Starting in 1996, he studied under Professor Tao Chunxiao of the Central Conservatory of Music. In 1999, he went to the Saint Petersburg Conservatory in Russia for further training and was subsequently recommended for admission to the Orchestral Music Department of the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. He has served as the Principal Clarinetist of the Chengdu Symphony Orchestra since 2005. As the principal clarinetist, he has toured with the orchestra to countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Spain, and Russia. He has successfully collaborated with numerous renowned conductors and soloists in the classical music world, both domestically and internationally. Additionally, he has been invited multiple times to serve as a judge for music competitions at home and abroad.
