International Clarinet Competition Chengdu
About the competition
Chengdu International Clarinet Competition was founded by Chengdu Yuchu Clarinet Studio and takes place in Chengdu. The competition is dedicated to providing a platform for young clarinetists to develop their future career through a high-level event with international recognition. The first competition will take place at the Chengdu Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall. The jury will consist of world famous clarinet artists, including Eddy Vanoosthuyse, Qing Cai, Jerry Chae, Yemo He, Florent Héau, Julien Chun-Y’en Lai, Yusuke Noda,Nuno Silva, Tao Wang, Maria Wong.The competition is a testament to the growth of Chengdu’s music and cultural industries. By competing and exchanging with world-class clarinetists, it helps Chengdu establish itself as an”international music city,” enhances the city’s artistic atmosphere, and further promotes the prosperity and development of Chengdu’s music industry.
