Clarinet performer, associate professor of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Master’s Supervisor, Vice director of Orchestral Instruments Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
In 2009, he graduated with distinction in master degree of Performing Arts in Shanghai Conservatory of Music; in the same year, he worked as a teacher in the college.
He has held concerts, performances and artistic exchanges in Berlin, Vienna, Rome, Brussels, Warsaw, Beijing, Shanghai and other places at home and abroad. Invited to cooperate with many famous national and international orchestras and important art projects; His performance works have been released by Naxos, UMG, WIND and other record companies. In addition to Western repertoire, he has also performed world premieres of Chinese contemporary composers’ works.
He has held world premiere of clarinet solo ‘Yemo’s Recorder’ (2001); Yemo He Solo Concert (2006); Yemo He Solo Concert (2009); In 2013, he performed world premiere of clarinet concerto ‘Sala Tree Song’ with Shanghai Opera House Symphony Orchestra. In 2014, world premiere of clarinet concerto ‘Sunyata Dance’ with Israel Symphony Orchestra; In 2019, he was invited to Martha Argerich’s Piano Chamber Music Concert, etc.
Film music ‘Prince of the Himalayas’ (2006); music album ‘Mystical Scent’ (2006); In 2008, he was the special clarinet soloist in the musical epic melodrama ‘Lucky Song for Lingshan Mountain’ and the music album ‘Tathāgata’.
In 2005, he won the second place in the fifth International Beethoven Music Competition Italy. His playing was praised as ‘a talented musician whose music is full of individuality and spirituality’; ‘The effortless control of this soloist is marvellous.’
He has written several academic research articles, such as Carl Baermann’s Complete Method for Clarinet and Basic Practice of Clarinet (2009), Clarinet Basic Exercise (2015) and etc.
