Chengdu Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall
Chengdu Symphony Orchestra (CSO) Concert Hall is a long-term residence of Chengdu Symphony Orchestra. It is the first one in Sichuan to realize the development mode of “hall and orchestra integration”. This new venue is located in the Chengdu Open-air Music Park, the only representative city park in China with an open-air music plaza as its theme. Its unique ecological environment and beautiful forest landscape have given the concert hall a distinctive temperament of “quietness and elegance in the midst of chaos”, making it a truly “concert hall in the forest”.
Relying on the excellent natural environment of the open-air music park, it will become a classical music destination in the forest and a new cultural landmark in Chengdu, bringing together more top troupes, artists, and actors from China and abroad and playing the most resounding. Moreover, it is going to spread music in the culturally rich and beautiful city and realize for the beautiful vision of “Three Cities, Three Capitals”.
As a professional concert hall, CSO Concert Hall has a comprehensive and varied supporting facilities to meet the needs of all kinds of concerts and performances. The total floor area is 9011.38 square meters. The concert hall includes 1 music hall (total seating capacity 1015), 5 rehearsal halls, 4 orchestra dressing rooms, 5 VIP dressing rooms, 3 piano rooms and 2 VIP rooms. The seats are arranged in a “vineyard” manner to achieve closer audition communication between the audience and the orchestra, which can satisfy a variety of performance forms such as chamber music and classical music, and can accommodate a complete four-winds orchestra.
