Woojin Kim is a clarinetist who has studied at some of the most prestigious institutions in South Korea and France. He began playing the clarinet at the age of 10 and refined his skills at Sunhwa Arts Middle School and Sunhwa Arts High School, both renowned for their excellence in music education.
In 2015, he was admitted to the Korea National University of Arts (K-ARTS), where he studied under Prof. Jerry Chae for four years. Demonstrating remarkable dedication and musicality, he was later accepted into the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), one of the world’s leading conservatories.
From 2019 to 2023, he pursued his Licence degree at CNSMDP, studying under the guidance of Pascal Moraguès, Jérôme Comte, and Leroy Arnaud. During this time, he deepened his expertise in solo and ensemble performance, further developing his technical and artistic expression.
Following the completion of his Licence, he is set to begin his Master’s studies at CNSMDP in September 2025, continuing his pursuit of musical excellence and further refining his artistry.
