Guo Yuehan began learning the clarinet at the age of 9, successively studying under Professor Zheng Tiemin from Shandong University of Arts and Associate Professor Wang Yingnan from Capital Normal University. In 2019, she participated in the 7th National Wind Instrument Solo Competition of China Music Little Golden Bell and won the Wind Instrument Rising Star Award. In the same year, she participated in the 2019 Yamaha Cup National Clarinet Competition and won the third place in the country. In the same year, she was invited to participate in the 8-day clarinet music festival held by the Asian Youth Musicians Association in Malaysia, and received recognition and guidance from Francois Draux (François Draux), Principal Clarinet of the Cannes National Symphony Orchestra in France. In August 2023, she was admitted to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music with the first place in the clarinet major, studying under Professor He Yemo. She also serves as the principal clarinetist of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra and was shortlisted for the Cluj International Music Competition in 2025.
