Sang-jin Park is a South Korean clarinetist currently based in Lyon, France. He has received systematic, high-quality musical education, having successfully completed his academic programs at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Lyon (France) and Seoul National University (South Korea). During his studies, he received professional guidance from renowned instructors Nicolas Baldeyrou and Franck Amet, which has laid a solid foundation for his career in clarinet performance.

Boasting rich professional performance experience, Sang-jin Park has served as a guest musician in numerous prestigious orchestras across France and South Korea. Since 2025 and 2024 respectively, he has held the position of guest second clarinetist with the Orchestre national Avignon Provence and Opéra de Lyon (France). In 2025, he also served as a guest first clarinetist with the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France and Opéra national de Lorraine (France). Additionally, he has been a guest solo petite clarinetist with L’Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France (France) since 2023, and has long been a regular guest musician with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and Seoul Arts Center Festival Orchestra (South Korea) since 2022, covering positions as first clarinet, second clarinet, and petite clarinet. In his early years, he also served as a solo clarinetist with the Seoul Metropolitan Youth Orchestra from 2017 to 2019.

Sang-jin Park has achieved remarkable results in numerous international clarinet competitions. In 2025, he was a finalist (first solo clarinet) in competitions hosted by the Opéra de Paris, Orchestre national Avignon-provence, and Opéra national de Lorraine (France), and won the second prize at the International Clarinet Competition of the Commune du Parc Hosingen (Luxembourg) as well as the third prize at the Sava Dimitrov International Clarinet Competition (Bulgaria). In 2024, he claimed the first prize in both the Saverio Mercadante International Clarinet Competition and the Città di Carlino International Clarinet Competition (Italy). In 2023, he secured the second prize and a special prize at the International Clarinet Competition Jacques Lancelot (Japan).
