Se-Yeon Lee is a talented clarinetist with an impressive academic background and outstanding musical potential. She was admitted to the Korea National University of Arts (K’ARTS) as an early admission student for music prodigies and is currently pursuing her studies there. Before that, she studied at the Gifted Education Center of Korea National University of Arts from 2021 to 2025, and completed her middle school education at Sunhwa Arts Middle School from 2023 to 2026, graduating with the highest honors in performance. Her systematic music education has laid a solid foundation for her future development in the field of clarinet.

Se-Yeon Lee has achieved remarkable results in various national and international music competitions, winning numerous important awards. In 2025, she won the 1st Prize in the Buffet Crampon Clarinet Competition Korea and the Grand Prize (Overall) in the Seoul Orchestra Competition. In 2024, she became the youngest winner of the 1st Prize in the ICA International Clarinet Association Competition held in Dublin, Ireland, and also won the 1st Prize in the Ewha & Kyunghyang Music Concours. In 2023, she obtained the Special Prize (Woodwind Division) in the Osaka International Music Competition, as well as the 1st Prize in both the Rheum Chamber Orchestra Competition and the Soleal Philharmonic Orchestra Music Competition. In 2022, she won the 1st Prize in the Ewha & Kyunghyang Music Concours, along with 1st Prizes in multiple other competitions including Eumak Chunchu, Seoul National University, and Seongjeong.

With rich performance experience, Se-Yeon Lee has shown excellent musical expression on many stages. In 2025, she performed as a soloist with the Seoul Orchestra at Yongsan Art Hall, participated in the Kumho Young Artist Concert at Kumho Art Hall Yonsei, played as a soloist with the Sunhwa Arts Middle School Orchestra at the Universal Arts Center, and held a solo recital in the Shinhan Live Classic at Shinhan Art Hall. In 2024, she was a featured soloist in the KBS “Who’s the Best” Prodigy Series and performed as a soloist with the Rheum Chamber Orchestra at Lotte Concert Hall. In 2023, she held her own clarinet recital at the Rheum Membership Concert, and in 2022, she also performed as a soloist with the Rheum Chamber Orchestra.
