Kao Minsin was born in 2007. She majors in clarinet and studies under Teacher Lai Chun-yen. She entered the Department of Music, National Taiwan Normal University in September 2025. She once studied under Teacher Sung Wei-te and Teacher Cheng Ya-ching.

She has won the second place in Group A of the Amateur Group of the 2022 Bokai Buffet Clarinet Music Competition, been shortlisted for the Semifinal of the Rookie Group of the 2024 Bokai Buffet Clarinet Music Competition, won the Distinction Award in the 114th Academic Year Student Music Competition, and been shortlisted for the final of the 21st Saverio Mercadante International Clarinet Competition. She once participated in the National Youth Symphony Orchestra during the 2026 winter vacation.

In recent years, she has also actively participated in domestic and international masterclasses. The guiding masters include Christoph Müller, Julia Puls, Istvan Kohan, Sylvie Hue, Thomas Lindhorst, Sang Yoon Kim, Florent Héau, Alex Chabod, Nicolas Baldeyrou, Franck Amet, Inn Hyuck Cho, Huang Di, Lin Zhiqian, etc.
