Alberto Niobey discovered the clarinet in Nantes under the guidance of Yves Sévères, before continuing his studies in Paris with Florent Héau and Franck Amet. He is currently studying at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Lyon in Nicolas Baldeyrou’s class. Passionate about chamber music, he has been invited to several festivals, including Les Musicales de Cambrai and Les Volques. He also performs with various ensembles such as the Philharmonique de Radio France, the Opéra de Lyon, the Orchestre national de Lyon, and the Académie de l’Opéra de Paris. A finalist at the Sava Dimitrov International Competition in Bulgaria, he joined the Orchestre de la Garde républicaine in 2025.
