Feng Qianyi began learning the clarinet at the age of 8. At the age of 10, he studied under Professor Zhao Zengmao, a clarinet professor at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and gradually consolidated his clarinet playing foundation and improved his professional ability under professional guidance.

In August 2025, Feng Qianyi was admitted to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music with the first place in his major, studying under Associate Professor He Yemo. He is currently a freshman at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, continuing to devote himself to the study of the clarinet major.
