Tomas Milerius was born into a family of musicians and began his studies at age four with his father, the Principal Clarinetist of the Klaipeda State Symphony Orchestra. He continued his education abroad under Patrick Messina and Pierre Génisson in Paris and Benjamin Dieltjens in Brussels before moving to New York. He is currently pursuing his studies at The Juilliard School, under the guidance of Charles Neidich.
A winner of over a dozen international competitions, his accolades include the Glasgow Clarinet Competition and the Grand Prize at the International American Single Reed Summit Clarinet Competition.
Milerius has performed as a soloist in prestigious venues across the globe, from Salle Cortot to the Etihad Museum, and recently made his solo debut at the world-renowned Vienna Musikverein with the Vienna City Orchestra.
